IN SERVICE TO OUR COMMUNITY, THE PEACOCK PERFORMING ARTS CENTER IS COMMITTED TO CONTINUING AS A SOURCE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS, GIVING ALL PEOPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN AND UNDERSTAND THE PERFORMING ARTS
HAYESVILLE, NC: Volunteer for Arts and Culture, board member, and past president helping to transform a community theater, Peacock Playhouse, into an arts center. Directing all strategy and creative to re-branding and re-organizing the institution to include an educational component. Concentrated new efforts on fundraising and programming, creating new annual events: a Gala, music festival, and haunted theater. Helped establish community partnerships with various businesses including the local farmer’s market and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort.
Special Projects:
develop new logo, mission and vision statement
re-structure and develop a five-year plan
create promotional collateral and new website
