And even though I was tired, angry, and disgusted, I felt like I was a spoiled American lying to get a nicer room. Smelly room, dead animal, strange woman, it all sounded like a lie. The concierge told me there were no other vacancies and I would have to stay in the room. I didn’t know what else to do but turn around and go back to the room.
